Water is an essential building block of life. It is more than just essential to quench thirst or protect health; water is vital for creating jobs and supporting economic, social, and human development.

The theme for World Water Day 2019 is Leaving no one behind” which is the central promise of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: as sustainable development progresses, everyone must benefit. I must say, WATER FOR ALL: Water for all ages; water for all refugees; water for all people living in rural area, like our family.

SAVING WATER NOW MEANS HAVING WATER AVAILABLE IN THE FUTURE. 💓

Honestly to say, our family lives in a rural/mountainous area, 5 km away from the downtown. Although we are only walks away from the rivers and the water dam, we have no good water distribution and I’ve noticed that the City’s water district prioritize in distributing water to households alongside the downtown, which is a funny irony thing about our place.

Currently, our city is under the state of calamity because of DRY SPELL.

All I am hoping is that the Water District could be able to come up with a good strategy in water with fair distribution to households. And I also hope that they could be able to accomplish a good plan for the future’s dilemma like this DRY SPELL.

NO WATER, NO SHOWER (EXACTLY ME)
