Crochet Pattern Use Policy

MATERIALS

Choose the yarn size/type you prefer

  • Crochet Thread (Cream for the base and other colors you prefer for the Top part) use 1mm crochet hook
  • Cotton Fine (Sport) lightweight yarn (Cream or beige for the base, and various colors for the top) use 1.5mm crochet hook
  • Colorful Scrap Yarns for Toppings
  • Yarn Needle
  • Scissors
  • Stitch
  • Toy filling or stuffing

US TERMS
In this pattern, the abbreviations are on US Terms.

  • CH – chain
  • SC – single crochet
  • Sl St – slip stitch
  • INC – increase
  • DEC – decrease
  • *… * – repeat times
  • ( … ) – number of stitches
  • FO – fasten off

Note: This project must be crocheted in tight stitches, to be sure no any holes through which polyester–fiber fill be seen. All details are crocheted in rows. Every row ends with slip stitch on the first stich of the row. In this project, you will use 2 pulls (2 strands) of the crochet thread.

PART 1 – DONUT’S TOP

I used Mint Green yarn color. You can choose color you prefer.

R1. CH 15, Sl St on the first CH (15)

R2. CH 1, 2 SC, INC 5x, Sl St (20)

R3. CH 1 on the same St, 1 Sc, INC, 3 SC, INC 4x, 2 SC, Sl St (25)

R4. CH 1, 4 SC, INC 5x, Sl St (30)

R5. CH 1 on the same St, 2 SC, INC, 5 SC, INC 4x, Sl St. (35)

R6 – R8. St all around (35)

FO, Cut a long tail for sewing

PART 2 – DONUT’S BASE

Flip your work backwards. As Arrows seen on the figure, begin the next part using the base color.

R1. SC all around (15)

R2. CH 1, 2 SC, INC 5x, Sl St (20)

R3. CH 1 on the same St, 1 Sc, INC, 3 SC, INC 4x, 2 SC, Sl St (25)

R4. CH 1, 4 SC, INC 5x, Sl St (30)

R5. CH 1 on the same St, 2 SC, INC, 5 SC, INC 4x, Sl St. (35)

R6 – R8. St all around (35)

Snip then fasten off.

DONUT’S TOPPINGS

Weave Scrap yarns to make Sprinkles as donut’s toppings on the top
part. (Choose any or multi colors based on your preferences)

ASSEMBLY

Use yarnneedle to sew. Combine the ends of Top and Bottom part. From the Long tail that was cut on Part 1, use only one thread. Hide the other one. Make sure you have equal stitches (35 stitches) of each parts.

Add Polyester-fiber fill while assembling. Then, Fasten Off. Hide ends.
